Disk Space
|
Disk Space/Storage is the amount of space available to you for displaying your website (HTML files, images,
scripts, music, etc). If you have 100MB of Disk Space available to you, you would need 100 1MB files to
fill up the available space. Or 200 500KB files.

Data Transfer
|
Data transfer/Bandwidth is the amount of digital data that can be moved from one computer
to another. For example, if you had a 100MB file on your site and you had 1GB of bandwidth available to you,
this file would need to be downloaded 10 times in order for your available bandwidth to be used. A 1MB file would
need to be downloaded over 1,000 times in order to use all available bandwidth.

MySQL is a fast and powerful database. A database is defined as "a collection of data arranged for ease and
speed of search and retrieval". Many web applications and scripts use databases to store their information and to
allow quick retrieval of that information.

FTP
|
FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol". FTP is an ideal way of transfering files to and from your computer
or a server on the internet. In order to place your files onto your website, the files need to be uploaded
using an FTP client such as wsFTP or SmartFTP.
